Our Annual Show is an opportunity to see just what you can make out of wood with the Cooroora Woodworkers Members and Interclub competitions, and various exhibitors from around the surrounding area.

The Cooroora Woodworkers Club holds its Cooroora Woodcraft Show over two days in October each year, in the historic Memorial Hall in Maple Street, Cooroy.
The Woodcraft Show encourages club members to show their talents, skills, and the joy of woodworking to the community. Visitors are always delighted by the beauty of natural wood, especially when it has been hand-crafted into an attractive and/or functional object.

The Show features displays of work by club members and woodworkers from other clubs, as well as works produced by talented local school students. The event also includes competitions between regional woodworking clubs as well as the Cooroora Woodworkers members competition. The fierce but friendly competitions will decide the best exhibits in general woodworking, woodturning, carving, marquetry, toy-making, pyrography, scrollsaw/Intarsia, and furniture. Cash prizes and goods are on offer to the winning entries, generously donated by various businesses in Cooroy & surrounding areas.
There are also plenty of activities to watch, with demonstrations throughout both days of woodturning, scroll sawing, carving, and other woodworking crafts. Club members are on hand to answer questions and provide woodworking advice.

Visitors can also see the products from logs of several species previously milled off site into slabs of timber. These pieces are available for purchase.

A large number of stall holders, both commercial and member operated, also exhibit at our Show, with craft items, woodworking tools, products, and machinery for sale.

There is a raffle which has great prizes all made by club members and all proceeds from the raffle and other activities go directly back into the club so that we can continue to provide an enjoyable hands-on activity for members of our community, some of whom have never worked with wood before.

You never know, you may even decide to join up.

Come and join the fun at our annual Show!
